AstraZeneca PLC13 July 2007 REPURCHASE OF SHARES IN ASTRAZENECA PLC Further to the announcement of its irrevocable, non-discretionary sharerepurchase programme for the period 2 July 2007 to 31 October 2007, AstraZenecaPLC announced that under the terms of that programme it purchased forcancellation 210,394 ordinary shares of AstraZeneca PLC at a price of 2731 penceper share on 12 July 2007. Upon the cancellation of these shares, the number ofshares in issue will be 1,494,100,513.
