The Group announces that, in order to optimise the capital position of the group, Ecclesiastical Insurance Group (EIG), EIO or other group companies may seek to purchase EIO's preference shares. Such shares, if purchased, may be held uncancelled / 'in treasury' for potential subsequent re-sale, or may be cancelled.
