Purchase of own securities

On 27 November 2006, Reckitt Benckiser plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, 100,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 2276.87 pence per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 3,798,000 ordinary shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 715,872,237 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
