Caledonia Investments PLC28 September 2007 Caledonia Investments plc Transactions in Own Shares Caledonia Investments plc (the "Company") announces that it has today given anirrevocable instruction to JPMorgan Cazenove to purchase its ordinary sharesunder the authority to purchase shares approved by shareholders on 19 July 2007.Any shares purchased will be held in treasury. The instruction is valid from today until 27 November 2007, the date when theCompany will announce its half-yearly financial report for the year ending 31March 2008. Any purchases will be effected within certain pre-set parameters, and inaccordance with both the Company's general authority to purchase its shares andChapter 12 of the Listing Rules and any trading decisions will be made byJPMorgan Cazenove independently of, and uninfluenced by, the Company.
