Old Mutual PLC17 March 2008 Old Mutual plc Ref 67/08 17 March 2008 Transaction in Own Shares Old Mutual plc ("the Company") announces that on 14 March 2008 it purchasedthrough Deutsche Securities (Pty) Limited a total of 580,000 of the Company'sordinary shares of 10p each. All of these shares were acquired on the JSE Limited at an average price of ZAR17.8515 per share. The purchased shares will be held in treasury.
