The board of Beazley Group plc announces that Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust has purchased 700,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company on 25th March 2009 at an average price of 87.8p.
In addition, following the further vesting of Retention and Deferred share awards on 23rd March 2009, 1,414,914 ordinary shares of 5p each have been transferred to directors and employees.
The Beazley Group plc Employee Benefit Trust now owns 11,869,275 ordinary shares of 5p each (3.4% of the issued share capital).
