GKN plc Purchase of own securities held in Treasury GKN plc announces that on 13 May 2005 it purchased 250,000 of its ordinaryshares at a price of 236.73p per share from Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe)Limited. It is intended that these shares are held in Treasury.Following the purchase, GKN plc holds 20,125,000 of its ordinary shares inTreasury and has a total of 719,365,730 ordinary shares (excluding Treasuryshares) in issue.
