Enterprise Inns PLC01 October 2007 01 October 2007 Enterprise Inns plc - Repurchase of own shares Enterprise Inns plc announces that it has today purchased for cancellation100,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 593.60 pence per ordinaryshare. The highest price paid was 598 pence per share and the lowest price paidwas 588 pence per share. Such purchase was effected pursuant to irrevocableinstruction given prior to, and as announced by Enterprise Inns on, 28 September2007. Following the above purchase the total number of ordinary shares in issue andthe total voting rights in the Company (excluding shares held in treasury) is511,367,054. Of these 10,027,700 shares are held by Employee Trusts and are discounted forearnings per share calculation purposes.
