CRH PLC15 January 2008 15th January 2008 SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAMME CRH plc announces that on 14th January 2008, UBS Limited purchased, on behalf ofthe Company, 73,600 Ordinary Shares of €0.32 each in CRH plc at prices between€23.10 and €23.69 per Ordinary Share. The purchased shares will be held as Treasury Shares. Following the above transaction, CRH plc holds 534,975 Ordinary Shares inTreasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is546,692,219.
