Transaction in Own Shares

Caledonia Investments plc (the "Company") announces that on 18 November 2011 it purchased from J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd. 3,000 of its own ordinary shares at an average price of 1435.27 pence per share. The purchased shares will be cancelled.

Following the above purchase, Caledonia has 58,122,551 ordinary shares in issue, excluding 572,230 of its ordinary shares held in treasury.
