Sports Direct International Plc02 August 2007 Sports Direct International plc Transaction in Own Shares Sports Direct International Plc ("Sports Direct") today acquired through CreditSuisse Securities (Europe) Ltd 850,000 of its ordinary shares at an averageprice of 147.94 pence per ordinary share.
