Imperial Tobacco has today, 29 April 2013, purchased 110,400 ordinary shares at an average price of 2292.64 pence per ordinary share. The highest price paid was 2302.0 pence per share and the lowest 2280.0 pence per share.

The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Imperial Tobacco holds 92,333,532 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 975,609,349.
