Purchase of Shares in Buyback Programme

The Company announces that on 13 June 2008 it purchased 200,000 of its ordinary shares of 1.5625 pence each through Numis Securities Limited at a price of 208 pence per share. These shares will be cancelled and will reduce the number of shares in issue to 161,056,090.
Following the cancellation of such shares, the Company's issued share capital
consists of 161,056,090 ordinary shares all with voting rights.
