Enterprise Inns PLC03 September 2007 03 September 2007 Enterprise Inns plc - Transaction in Own Shares Enterprise Inns plc (the 'Company') announces that it has today purchased forcancellation 200,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 647.3042pence per ordinary share. The highest price paid was650 pence per share and thelowest price paid was 641.50 pence per share. Following the above purchase the total number of ordinary shares in issue andthe total voting rights in the Company (excluding shares held in treasury) is515,267,054. Of these 10,058,631 shares are held by Employee Trusts and are discounted forearnings per share calculation purposes. In addition to the above 50,000,000 ordinary shares are held as treasury sharesand are also discounted for earnings per share calculation purposes.
