Purchase of own shares

Compass Group PLC announces that on 23 June 2015 it purchased 200,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1121.6235 pence per share through Merrill Lynch International.

Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.

Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 1,142,840 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,655,634,542 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
