IMI PLC - Transaction in Own Shares

IMI PLC announces that on 27 June 2013 it purchased through Citigroup Global Markets Limited 90,000 ordinary shares of 25p each, at an average price of 1253.46 pence per share. The highest and lowest prices paid for these shares were 1267.00 pence per share and 1236.00 pence per share respectively. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, IMI PLC holds 27,949,190 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 316,262,860.
