Transaction in Own Shares

Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that on 14 May 2010 it purchased from J.P. Morgan Securities Ltd 3,000 of its own ordinary shares of 5p each at an average price of 1634.6367p per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. 

Following the above purchase, Caledonia holds 569,230 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 58,225,551 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
