Purchase of own securities

On 20 February 2007, Reckitt Benckiser plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, 90,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of 26.4986 pence per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 3,036,788 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 717,276,739 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
