SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAMME
CRH plc announces that on 27th May 2008, UBS Limited purchased, on behalf of the Company, 62,886 Ordinary Shares of €0.32 each in CRH plc at prices between €23.846 and €24.20 per Ordinary Share. The purchased shares will be held as Treasury Shares.
Following the above transactions, CRH plc holds 11,282,676 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding Treasury Shares) is 536,837,760.
