Purchase of own shares

Compass Group PLC announces that on 23 November 2015 it purchased 120,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1072.0574 pence per share through Merrill Lynch International.

Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.

Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 13,038,606 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,643,738,776 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
