Ferrexpo PLC announces that on 11 September 2008 it purchased 500,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 168.6462 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, Ferrexpo PLC holds 3,065,000 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 610,902,956 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
