Imperial Tobacco has today, 03 June 2013, purchased 100,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 2367.78 pence per ordinary share. The highest price paid was 2375 pence per share and the lowest 2351 pence per share.

The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Imperial Tobacco holds 93,868,532 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 974,074,349.
