Transaction in own shares

bwin.party announces that on 17 February 2012 it purchased, through an independent third party, 200,803 of its ordinary shares for cancellation at an average price of 167.66 pence per share. The highest price paid was 169.30 pence per share and the lowest price paid was 164.90 pence per share.

Following the above purchase, the Company has now bought back 23,086,649 shares for cancellation, since 6 September 2011 when the buy-back programme commenced. The total number of bwin.party shares in issue is 829,822,622 and the total number of voting rights in issue is 827,098,604 (total number of shares in issue minus 2,724,018 shares held by the employee benefit trust in respect of which the voting rights have been waived).
