Dawnay, Day Sirius Limited: Transaction in own shares

Dawnay, Day Sirius Limited (the "Company") announces that on 16 May 2008 it purchased 400,000 ordinary shares at an average price of EUR 0.675 per share.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 13,396,824 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 314,403,176 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
