Grainger PLC01 August 2007 Grainger plc Transaction in own shares Grainger plc announces that on 31 July 2007 it purchased through JP Morgan Cazevone Limited 100,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company for cancellation at a price of 498.5 pence per share. Following this cancellation ofshares Company's total issued share capital (excluding 500,000 shares held as treasury Shares) will be 129,090,990.
