Close Brothers Dev VCT PLC12 December 2006 CLOSE BROTHERS DEVELOPMENT VCT PLC Close Brothers Development VCT PLC announces that on 12 December 2006 itpurchased, to be held in treasury, 30,718 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.3% ofthe Ordinary Share capital) at a price of 85p per Ordinary Share and 17,500 CShares (representing 0.1% of the C Share capital) at a price of 93p per C Share. Following the purchase of the 30,718 Ordinary Shares and the 17,500 C Shares,the total number of treasury shares held by the Company will be 275,118 OrdinaryShares and 156,715 C Shares.
