Purchase of own securities

On 21 November 2008, Reckitt Benckiser Group plc acquired from Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, 232,000 of its ordinary shares at an average price of ‚£25.7143 per ordinary share. These shares will be held as treasury shares.

Following the purchase and non-cancellation of these ordinary shares, the Company has:

1. 13,892,226 shares held as treasury shares ; and

2. 708,476,286 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares)
