Spectris plc: Transaction in own shares
Spectris plc announces that on 13 March 2007 it purchased 200,000 of its 5p ordinary shares at a volume weighted average price paid per share of 864.375p.
The highest price paid per share was 867p, and the lowest price paid was 862.5p.
The shares purchased will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Spectris plc holds 200,000 shares in treasury.
The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 124,794,993.
