London and Lagos, 04 June 2025: Airtel Africa announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of USD 0.50 each from Barclays Capital Securities Limited pursuant to the authority granted by its shareholders as part of its share buy-back programme, details of which was announced on 14 May 2025.

The purchased ordinary shares will be cancelled.

 

Following the purchase of these ordinary shares, the remaining ordinary shares of USD 0.50 each in issue will be 3,668,315,812, including 7,489,044 treasury shares. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 3,660,826,768. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
