Share Repurchase Programme
Centrica plc announces that on 5 September 2014, it purchased (through Barclays Bank PLC) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 323.9338 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 325.00 pence and 322.80 pence respectively.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 65,489,438 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,014,454,588 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
