Transaction in Own Shares

The Company announces that on 25 March 2010 it purchased 449,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 2728.05 pence per share. The purchased shares will all be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase, the Company holds 19,586,683 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 276,506,980.
