TRANSACTIONS IN OWN SECURITIES

Whitbread PLC ("Whitbread") announces today that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 76 122/153 pence each on the London Stock Exchange and Multilateral Trading Facilities from Morgan Stanley & Co. International Plc ("Morgan Stanley"). Such purchase was effected pursuant to instructions issued by Whitbread on 18 October 2023, as announced on 18 October 2023:

Number of ordinary shares purchased:	86,148
Highest price paid per share:	3,339.00p
Lowest price paid per share:	3,294.00p
Volume weighted average price paid per share:	3,318.59p

 

 

Whitbread intends to cancel the purchased shares.

 

Since 18 October 2023, Whitbread has purchased 1,085,354 shares at a cost (excluding dealing and associated costs) of £35,883,558.10.

 

Following settlement of the above transaction, Whitbread will hold 12,454,718 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 204,619,389 ordinary shares in issue.
