Trading update
Intimas Group plc ("Intimas" or "the Company") is a designer and supplier of ladies' intimate apparel, with a portfolio of brands comprising Lepel, Charnos Lingerie, DM and Urban Nights, a substantial private label division and retail outlets
The Board of Intimas, makes the following comments on current trading:
Whilst results in the First Quarter were in line with expectations, trading during April was materially worse than expected, due to the effects of the recessionary environment and adverse currency movements.
In addition, the Company is in discussions with its bank regarding ongoing banking arrangements.
Results for the year to 31 December 2008 will be announced later this month.
