Trading Update

SCISYS, the supplier of bespoke software systems, IT-based solutions, web and mobile application development, and support services to the Space, Defence, Media & Broadcast, Government and Commercial sectors, is pleased to provide the following trading update:

Following the trading update released on 16 August 2016 and the updated outlook statement in its interim results announced in September 2016, SCISYS is pleased to report that, due to continued strong trading in the second half of 2016, the Directors now anticipate that the Group will deliver adjusted operating profit (before exceptional items and share based payments) and revenues for the year to 31 December 2016 ahead of current market guidance.

This is a result of additional contract wins, improved efficiency in delivering existing projects and the continuing positive impact of the exchange rate fluctuations in sterling against the euro. Each of these elements substantiates the favourable outlook statement that the Directors made in the announcement of SCISYS' interim results and underpins the Board's confidence that the Group is well positioned to achieve its growth objectives.
