Asian Citrus Holdings Limited
("Asian Citrus" or "the Group")
Trading Update
Asian Citrus, the largest orange plantation owner and operator in China, announces that the latest yield from its Summer Orange crop at its Hepu Plantation was 71,252 tonnes compared with 71,027 tonnes for the same harvest undertaken at the same time last year. The yield of the Summer crop is in line with management's expectations for summer production.
The annual yield for the Group increased from approximately 130,308 tonnes to about 152,059 tonnes in the current year which represents an increase of approximately 16.7%.
The full year results of the Group for the year ending 30 June 2009 are due to be published in mid-September 2009.
