Trading Update
JSJS Designs Plc ("JSJS" or "the Company"), specialists in the design, development and manufacture of home automation systems to enable consumers to operate remotely everyday household appliances, provides the following Trading Update to shareholders.
Key Points
- First Electrium license fee order totaling £300,000 received
- New business order totaling approximately £275,000 received
- JSJS products now available in B&Q stores with on-going roll-out to 153 stores nationwide
Pursuant to the announcement of a licensing agreement with Electrium Sales Limited ("Electrium"), the UK consumer electronics division of Siemens AG ("Siemens"), for the re-sale of JSJS products under the Siemens brand exclusively into the Kingfisher Group (which includes B&Q), JSJS is pleased to announce that it has received the first license fee order worth £300,000.
JSJS also confirms that it has received its first order from distributor ThreeSixty Innovation Limited, a supplier to Kingfisher Group, valued at approximately £275,000. The order received is for the provision of JSJS branded products that complement the suite of JSJS products that Electrium produces under license.
Further to the above orders, the Board is delighted to report that Siemens and LightwaveRFTM branded JSJS products have now arrived and are in store at Kingfisher Group owned B&Q outlets, and that roll-out to 153 stores nationwide has commenced. The roll out is expected to be completed by the end of this month. The products, which include light switches, dimmers and mains power sockets are based on JSJS' Radio Frequency (RF) LightwaveRFTM technology and are specifically designed for consumers seeking to retro-fit smart home technologies. As well as the increased functionality and flexibility, they also help consumers save energy and costs. These products are supported by the LightwaveRFTM Wi-Fi Link which allows control of these devices using smart phones and web apps from anywhere around the globe. Other similar products can only achieve the degree of sophistication in sequencing, mood settings and remote operation at significantly higher costs unattainable by the mass market.
