Alternative Networks plc06 March 2007 6 March 2007 Alternative Networks Extension to O2 Mobile Service Provider Licence & Trading update Alternative Networks plc, (AN.L) the UK business-to-business communicationsreseller, announces that it has extended its service provider licence from O2until 31 July 2009, following its recent enrolment into the O2 Data Centre ofExcellence. The licence had previously been due to expire on 31 July 2007. The Group also announces that trading in the first half since September 2006 hascontinued in line with market expectations. Growth rates seen at the year endhave generally continued into the first quarter ("Q1") of 2007, affordingconfidence for growth over the year as a whole. Revenues in the first quarter grew 12% year on year, with mobile up 23%, fixedline revenues up 3% and advanced solutions remaining unchanged.
