The announcement for Environmental Recycling Technologies plc released on 26 May 2016 at 11:30 under RNS no. 4144Z is amended as follows:

ENRT confirms that the clarification of its trading and financial position is in relation to current uncertainly regarding the sufficiency of its working capital, and that further updates will be made as soon as practicable.

All other details remain unchanged.

Environmental Recycling Technologies Plc (AIM:ENRT) announces that it has requested suspension of its shares from dealings on AIM pending clarification of its trading and financial position in view of current uncertainty regarding the sufficiency of its working capital.

Since the decision not to proceed with the most recent strategic discussions, as announced on May 18 2016, the Board has subsequently received several business propositions which the directors are evaluating with a view to securing the long term future of the Company.

However, following the announcement there has been an unusually high volume of shares traded in the Company and the Board is concerned that an orderly market in the shares must be maintained while these commercial discussions continue. Accordingly, the directors have requested an immediate suspension of dealings to enable negotiations to be progressed and an evaluation

 made as to whether a new viable business can be developed.

The Company is required under the AIM Rules for Companies to publish its audited accounts for the year ended 31 December 2015 no later than 30 June 2016. Further updates will be made as soon as practicable.
