John Menzies plc today reports on trading for the year ended 31 December 2015.

Since the Trading Update on 24 November 2015, trading has continued to be in line with our forecasts and the Board remains confident of meeting expectations for the full year ended 31 December 2015.

At Menzies Aviation, contractual negotiations with our major customer at London Gatwick Airport have been satisfactorily concluded.

The Board of John Menzies plc today announces that Jeremy Stafford, Chief Executive, has tendered his resignation for personal reasons.

With immediate effect Forsyth Black, previously Managing Director of Menzies Distribution, is appointed as Managing Director of Menzies Aviation and will join the Board of John Menzies Plc. Forsyth has been with the Group for over 16 years predominantly in senior Aviation roles, where latterly he was SVP of Africa, Middle East and India and most recently as head of the Distribution division where he has successfully led a network rationalisation and entry into the growing e-commerce logistics market.

Mark Cassie, currently Distribution Operations Director is appointed as Interim Managing Director of Menzies Distribution. Mark joined the Menzies Group in 1984 fulfilling a number of leadership roles and for the last four years has been Operations Director. As well as a very strong background in print media operations, Mark has worked closely with Forsyth in the recent new business ventures and he will continue to develop the strategic direction of the division.

The Board of John Menzies plc will continue to review its strategic and organisational options to enhance shareholder value.

The Group will announce its Preliminary Results on 8 March 2016.

There is no further information to be disclosed on Forsyth Black under paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
