Ultra Electronics Holdings PLC18 December 2007 Embargoed until 0700 18 December 2007 Ultra Electronics Holdings plc ("Ultra" or "the Group") Trading Update The Board of Ultra is reporting on trading before the Group enters the closeperiod in respect of its preliminary results for the year ending 31 December2007, which will be announced on 25 February 2008. The Group expects that revenue for the full year will be greater than £400m andthat margins will be maintained, despite the continuing currency headwind. As aresult the Board anticipates that Ultra's profits will be in line with currentmarket expectations. It is anticipated that operating cash flow will be stronger in the second halfof the year than in the first. The Group has announced four acquisitions in theyear; Criticom, Telemus, Atkins and BCF Designs for which the total cashconsideration payable in the year will be about £30m including expenses. Despitethis Ultra's net debt is expected to be below £30m at the year-end. The combinedrevenue of these acquisitions on a full-year basis for 2007 would have beenabout £20m.
