Synergy Healthcare PLC11 April 2005 For Immediate Release 11 April 2005 SYNERGY HEALTHCARE PLC ("Synergy" or "the Company") Trading update Synergy Healthcare plc (AIM: SYR), a leading provider of outsourced medicalsupport services, is pleased to provide an update prior to the release of itsresults for the year ended 3 April 2005. Profit before amortisation of goodwill and taxation is expected to be in linewith market expectations. Turnover is expected to be more than double comparedwith last year partly due to the acquisition of Netherlands based LTS, which wascompleted in July 2004, and also due to continuing organic growth in the UK. Trading in the second half of the financial year has remained robust, with anumber of new, long-term contracts having started. The long-term nature of ourcontracts means the Company starts the new financial year with excellentvisibility of revenues. Contractual negotiations on the St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospitals'PFI decontamination service are nearing financial close. The start of theservice is anticipated around Autumn of this year. Synergy remains on theshortlist for the combined Leeds, Bradford and Calderdale NHS Trusts'decontamination service. The Trusts' decision is expected to be announced nextmonth. The preliminary results will be announced on 19 May 2005.
