Trading update
Delivering a strong performance in 2010
London - Monday 24 January 2011 - InternetQ plc ("InternetQ" or the "Company"), one of the leading providers of mobile marketing and digital entertainment solutions for mobile network operators and brands, today announces the following trading update.
The Board are pleased to report that InternetQ has delivered a strong trading performance for the year ended 31 December 2010 and expect that revenue and profits will be in line with analyst expectations.
The Board is confident that the Company is well positioned to meet the performance expectations for 2011. So far in the year:
- The Company is executing two major mobile marketing projects in Poland involving Orange and Totalizator Sportowy and it has extended its cooperation with Azercell, Azerbaijan's biggest operator. It has also agreed with the Rotana Media Group to run two cross-country, multi-lingual mobile marketing campaigns in the 15 countries of the Middle East.
- The Company now has 200,000 active AKAZOO paying subscribers. In January, it is launching its mobile entertainment services in Spain and more Spanish speaking countries including Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Peru are set to follow in the first quarter of 2011.
The announcement of preliminary results is going to be made on March 29, 2011.
