TRADING UPDATE

The Board of Savile Group plc (SAVG.L), the AIM quoted human resources consulting group, specialising in outplacement, career transition and talent management, provides the following update on trading for the six months ended 31 December 2008.

The Board of Savile Group is pleased to announce that the Group's trading for the six months ended 31 December 2008 was extremely buoyant and well ahead of the same period in 2007. Furthermore, the Group has continued to strengthen its balance sheet and in December obtained High Court approval to a reduction of the Company's share premium account so that in future it may pay dividends from post-18 December 2008 earnings.

The Company expects to release its interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2008 on 17 February 2009 when it will provide an update on trading and prospects.

'Our strong performance in the first six months of the current financial year demonstrates the continued successful combination of our three distinct brands under the Savile Group investment banner as well as strong market conditions. We head into the second half of the financial year with signs of continued strong demand for our services and hence excellent prospects for the rest of the financial year."
