Bright Things plc07 November 2005 Bright Things plc 7 November 2005 Trading Update Announcement of Interim Results Bright Things plc, the creator of Bubble, the pre-school interactive gamesconsole and associated software, has today provided a trading update andannounces that its interim results will be released on 15 November 2005. Bright Thing's main product offering, Bubble with Thomas & Friends was shippedto retailers last week and is now available in stores across the UK. Theinitial consumer response, both to Bubble and the launch games, Tweenies andBalamory, has been encouraging and there has been a steady weekly increase insales since the product was launched. Furthermore, Bubble was recently named byThe Toy Retailers Association as one of the Top Ten Pre-school toys of 2005. Bandai, distributor of Bubble, have now ordered a total of 112,000 units, 86,000of which will have been shipped to their warehouse by the end of the year withthe remaining 26,000 due to arrive from China in the first quarter of 2006. Asis normal for products and brands in this category, sales can take time tobuild, typically rising each year after launch. It is therefore not expectedthat the majority of the units ordered will be sold until 2006. Five games for Bubble are now available. A sixth game, Noddy, will be availableat the end of November.
