Period-end trading update statement

The Board of Murgitroyd Group PLC issues the following period-end trading update in respect of the financial year ended 31 May 2017.

Total revenues in the second half of the financial year were £22.8M, representing a near 5% increase on the equivalent period in the 2016 financial year, and record revenue for any half year.

The Board confirms that trading for the second half of the financial year has been in line with the Board's expectations and represents a significant improvement on the trading result for the half year.

The Group expects to release its results for the year ended 31 May 2017 on or around 12 September 2017.
