Davis Service Group PLC24 October 2007 24 October 2007 THE DAVIS SERVICE GROUP PLC Trading Update Statement The Board of Davis Service Group Plc ('the Group') provides the following updateon trading for the three months to 30 September 2007. As expected, we have seen double digit growth in both revenue and operatingprofits (see note 2) in the third quarter, compared with the same period lastyear and higher interest costs reflecting the acquisitions we have made in thefirst half. In our Nordic region we continue to enjoy organic growth in excess of overalleconomic growth, while the Continent region is benefiting from the performanceof Permaclean in workwear in Germany. In UK and Ireland we are seeing theexpected improvements in the linen market and we are continuing to integrate theClinical Solutions business we acquired in June with the existing Sunlightbusiness. Overall, the business has progressed as expected following a good first half.We remain confident of our prospects for 2007 and also the longer termopportunities for the Group. The Board expects to provide a pre-close trading update for the year ending 31December 2007 on 14 December 2007.
