The College Retirement Equities Fund ("CREF"), managed by TIAA-CREF Investment Management LLC ("TCIM"), hereby informs you as of June 19, 2015 it held 116,833 shares of Cape Plc. CREF owned these shares in its investment account, the CREF Stock Account. It is our understanding the total voting shares outstanding of Cape Plc is 121,103,937 bringing CREF's ownership in your company to a 0.096% level.

Additionally, prior to June 19, 2015, Nuveen Investments Inc. ("NII") owned 3,481,952 ordinary shares in Cape Plc. On June 19, 2015, NII purchased 52,042 shares, bringing the total owned by NII to 3,533,994 shares in Cape Plc. NII's holding combined with CREF's holding is 3,650,827 shares or 3.015% of the issued and outstanding voting shares in Cape Plc.

Each of TCIM and NII are aggregating their holdings in Cape Plc as required by current FCA Disclosure and Transparency Rules. However, each of TCIM and NII separately and independently vote all proxies for shares held in Cape Plc.
