UNITED UTILITIES PLC TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS Month end - 31 July 2007

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1 United Utilities PLC hereby notify the market that on 31 July 2007 the total number of voting rights in the company is 880,204,324 and the total shares in issue are 880,204,324. No shares are held in Treasury.
