Total Voting Rights March 2, 2015 - Shire plc (LSE: SHP, NASDAQ: SHPG) (the "Company"), inaccordance with the Financial Conduct Authority's (the "FCA") Disclosure andTransparency Rule 5.6.1R, notifies the market of the following: As at February 28, 2015, the Company's issued ordinary share capital comprised590,247,061 ordinary shares of 5 pence each with voting rights and a further9,019,832 ordinary shares held in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 590,247,061. Thisis the figure which should be used by shareholders as the denominator for thecalculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify theirinterest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
