In accordance with the provisions of the Financial Services Authority'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules, Vela Technologies notifies the market of thefollowing:

At the date of this announcement, the Company's issued share capital consistedof 67,679,309 ordinary shares of 0.1p each, which are admitted to trading. Each ordinary share carries the right to one vote in all circumstances atgeneral meetings of the Company. The Company does not hold any TreasuryShares.

The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 67,679,309 andthis figure may be used by shareholders (and others with notificationobligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they willdetermine whether they are required to notify their interest, or a change totheir interest, in the Company under the Financial Services Authority'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules. --ENDS--
